What to Bring

Here is a checklist of things you should bring with you to my parties:

Computer
Monitor
Headphones (speakers not allowed during gameplay)
Microphone (handy when we play online)
Mouse (and I highly recommend a mouse pad with wrist rest)
Keyboard (and I highly recommend a keyboard wrist rest)
Joystick, controller or steering wheel for racing games
Cables to connect all of the above
Power strip
The amount of money the sign-up form told you to bring
Sleeping bag and pillow if you want to stay over
Your favorite office chair (optional)

I recommend open-ear headphones so you can communicate well with people in the room. Closed-ear or sound-isolating headphones are self-defeating at LAN parties.

Here is what NOT to bring with you to my parties:

Alcohol or illicit drugs
Porn or other offensive material
LAN cables (I have plenty)
Grumpiness or bad attitude
