If you would like to attend the next LAN party, please use the sign up form. This form is a work in progress. If you have problems using the form, please e-mail me so I can fix it.

NOTE: Please be advised that if you sign up, you are committed to actually show up, and you will be responsible to pay. Since I buy the snacks and the food, the cost comes out of my pocket if you don't pay. I can't afford that, so please don't sign up unless you plan to come. You can cancel up to the Wednesday before the LAN party without any penalty.

Unfortunately, I don't make enough money to put the parties on for free like the good old days. Your contribution of money helps me to keep the parties going. Without your money, I would have to stop having game parties, and that would be sad.

Snacks are $3 on Friday and $2 on Saturday. I used to charge $2 for Friday and $3 for Saturday, but more people come on Friday, and that's when the bulk of the snacks are eaten. We have two meals on Saturday, so fewer snacks are eaten.

It is $5 total for all the meals on Saturday (breakfast and lunch/dinner).

If you attend on Friday and Saturday, and if you plan to eat the snacks and the food, your total cost for the weekend would be $10 ($5 for snacks plus $5 for food). The sign up form calculates the total for you.

FYI, I do not make money on these parties. 100% of the money you pay goes to cover food and snacks. In fact, I pay quite a bit out of my pocket to help cover costs. I count my family as attendees, and pay $10 each for us just like you do. If somebody doesn't show up and pay, my costs are even higher.

Why do we combine lunch and dinner on Saturday? Because we found that people eat so many snacks that they are not hungry enough for three meals. Usually there is enough food left over for seconds later in the evening if you do get hungry again.

Here is the schedule for the LAN parties:

Friday: Show up at 7 PM. Make sure you eat dinner before you arrive. Snacks are available, but no meal. Once everyone is set up and ready to go, we'll start playing. We'll quit playing when everyone is too tired to continue. Bring your sleeping bag (and toothbrush and deodorant) if you want to sleep over.

Saturday: Breakfast will be available at 9AM for those who pay. We'll start playing at about 10 AM. Lately we have played racing games on Saturday morning. We usually play Rise of Nations or another RTS on Saturday afternoon. The late lunch / early dinner is served around 3 PM. We continue playing until everyone is done.
